Interview etiquette

As you study the information in the SNAPSHOT think of at least two reasons an individual would have for sending a post-job interview thank-you note. Based on the percentages above, how soon after an interview should the note be sent? Read through USA TODAY and find an article about a career that interests you. Decide what educational background, technical skills and other characteristics you would need to hold that job. Then, in groups of three role-play the parts of career counselor, interviewer and interviewee. As the interviewee, you should work first with the career counselor to focus on and come up with a list of your strengths. Make a list of anticipated interview questions, and rehearse a variety of possible responses. After, work with the "interviewer" (who has come up with a list of his/her own questions!) and practice your interview skills. After, switch roles.
