Using USA TODAY in the classroom to open up a dialogue about terrorism
I just wanted to say thanks for getting us going with USA TODAY here at Tuba City Boarding School. In light of the past three days, I don't know how I could have taught my students what was happening without the paper.

On Wednesday, we spent the entire day reading and discussing articles. For students who had no TV, it was their first look. For those who had been watching most of the night, like I had, it was a concrete supplement to validate that what we had seen and heard on TV was real.

I plan on compiling all of the articles on President Bush's responses into a bulletin board timeline of sorts. With it we can study his actions regarding the tragedy. This should prove to be an interesting evaluation of how a president handles himself and his country, especially since he is so new to the office!
